Brilliant Bins Wins Prestigious Environmental Excellence Award

We are celebrating - Brilliant Bins was a Winner in the Environmental Excellence Awards 2011 presented by the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management. The category we won is the "SME Innovatory Practice”. The awards were announced on the 10th November 2011 at an dinner in the Grosvenor Marriott Hotel in London.

The award ceremony was presented by Alistair McGowan, the famous comedian. Alistair was asked to take this on, not just for his presentation and entertaining skills, but because he is committed to environmental protection and is a WWF Ambassador. To see a transcript of an interview Alistair had with the WWF click here. At the end of the event I asked Alistair to sign one of our pink bins and he wrote "A Brilliant Idea". 

This is a fantastic accolade from such a prestigious organisation, and we thank all those who have worked to put this together, and the sponsors.
